The Narcyz house design is a project from the "Narcyz" house series. The idea behind the creation of projects in this series was to obtain a real house - with the shape and function that most of us automatically have in our heads when imagining a house. Such houses are drawn by our children, such houses are deep in our memory. We decided to combine the traditional form of the building with a gable roof with modern functional and material solutions, so that its architecture is as timeless as possible, ages nicely, and at the same time refers to the current fashion. Narcyz 1 is a one-story house with an attic, built on a rectangular plan, covered with a gable roof. A garage section with an attic is attached to the main structure. The symmetrical, proportional front elevation has an entrance arcade with a solid door with a transom, and above it there is a wide dormer window with a balcony. From the garden side, the rear elevation is enriched by a terrace roof and wide sliding balcony doors opening the living room to the terrace and the surrounding garden. The interior of the ground floor is an almost 40-meter combined space of the living room, hall and kitchen, representative stairs to the attic, an additional room (office or bedroom), utility rooms, and a garage and a boiler room. The location of the boiler room allows for the installation of both a gas boiler or heat pump, as well as a solid fuel boiler. In the project, a lot of space was allocated to the utility part and storage space: next to the vestibule there is a large cloakroom - a dressing room, then there is a laundry-drying room, and next to the kitchen there is a pantry. In the attic, despite the sloping roof, there are four comfortable rooms and a large bathroom. The parents' bedroom has its own large wardrobe. The attic can be enlarged by slightly raising the knee walls - at the Investor's discretion. Narcyz has a compact, simple shape, the building is not difficult to construct, and modern installation solutions and very good insulation make it an energy-efficient and low-maintenance building.
